Friendly and Supportive Online Math Tutoring

Hi, I’m Amy and I love to help math click for students! I believe that math is more than following a process. Instead, it’s about understanding the patterns, concepts, and ideas that make maths come alive. Learning math is more fun when we work together, so my classes are discussion based and collaborative.

I offer online one-on-one tuition and short courses that focus on troublesome spots in upper elementary and middle school math. I also provide classes and coaching in study skills. In these classes, students develop a toolkit of learning strategies that can transform their experience in school or homeschool.

In terms of qualifications, I have a BSc in Applied Mathematics and an MA in Education. On top of my degrees I have first-hand experience teaching one-to-one and in small groups – every thing from maths to nature study to science. As a home educator of six-plus years, I know that children flourish when given support tailored to their needs – which is exactly what I will give your child.
